day 7 - bright colors

yes, i skipped day 6, it was decade or region. i didnt feel like wearing a dress yesterday and thats about the only decade items i have. maybe some other time.
but here i am on day 7 - bright colors and i have no bright colors in my closet. so i made a tshirt scarf and that's why today's pictures are at my sewing machine. thank you pinterest for the inspiration for the scarf.

day 5 - pattern mixing

well i ended up skipping day 4 - channel someone. the day was just crazy and i was staying away from home so i didnt have access to my closet. plus its the day i work at my daughter's preschool so i tend to wear sweatshirts that i dont mind getting snot and other things on. so enough excuses, maybe i will try it this weekend.
but day 5 - pattern mixing was pretty fun. i pretty much found the perfect outfit on the first try and liked it so much i knew it was the one (just like how i found my wedding gown).
i choose white pinstripe pants with a plaid shirt. i would have never of thought of putting these two together without this challenge, thanks kayla.

day 3 - embrace a trend

i realized today when trying to figure out what i was going to do that i dont really follow trends. so here's the best i could do - animal print.

challenge day 2 - monochrome

here is my monochrome outfit - black yoga pants, black t shirt and black converse. ha ha, just kidding.
okay, here's my real outfit. i choose to do green since i have some green pants. but i couldn't choose a top. do you like the teal or the stripes? i ended up wearing the stripes, it was easier to wear while chasing kids.

today's challenge - wear layers. so here is what i wore on date night with my husband. do i get extra points for having socks layered over my tights in my boots?
