here is my little fashionista. when she put this outfit together she said that it looked so much better with the belt and with the shirt tucked in. what a cutie!!
(just a tip for parents of younger kids, belts can take too long to remove in the bathroom)

first spelling test

audrey will have her first spelling test today. i find that to be a big milestone for my daughter.

 

making button rings with nicole

today my brother's fiancee came over and crafted with me. it was fun.
we made button rings with ring pop ring bases.

activity for miles

i saw this idea on pinterest and thought it was cute and that miles would like it.
its just toilet paper tubes taped to our filing cabinet. then we dropped pom-pom balls through it.
i would say miles mildly liked it. he enjoyed throwing the pom-poms wherever he pleased more.

pendant, button rings and my new favorite scarf

i made some button rings last night. and i embellished a pendant with some beads i have lying around. i love how they all turned out.

 

 

and here is my new favorite scarf. i love the colors and pattern. i think it will pretty much go with everything. i even wore my yellow button ring with it.

hanging up make-up

i saw an idea like this on one of my favorite shows "mirror mirror". it plays on the live well network.
they did a framed sheet of metal but i decided it would just be easier to use a pizza pan.
so i spray painted the pizza pan, glued some scrapbook paper to the middle and then glued magnets to my makeup. and voila they hang up so nicely and are easy to get to. i love it!
