miles and the rattle phone

i wanted to see if i could add a video. its just my miles playing with his rattle phone. i think its way cute.

probably the last

here are the last of the things i will probably get made before the boy comes. a tutu with pompom balls for audrey and a quilt for jake and i's bed. the quilt was actually not as hard as i was thinking it would be and im glad that i finally got it done.

at a birthday party

audrey and i went to a birthday party for one of her friend's from work. it was at a horse camp. we got to ride on a hayride, pet baby bunnies, feed a donkey (audrey didnt do it) and audrey got to ride a big horse. guess what her favorite was? ill give you a hint, she was terrified of the baby bunny but not the huge horse. what a goof?!

teaching the fine art of wii

heres my husband teaching my daughter the fine art of animal crossing on wii. there was alot of "stop pushing the buttons, wait". it was fun to watch.

its just gravy

ive been busy making more stuff and my sewing projects bin is slowly getting emptied. i know ill never be able to finish everything so im just trying to rejoice in every project i get done.
ive made a valance for the kitchen, baby booties, tie onesies, guitar appliqued onesie and a transformers onesie from one of jake's old shirts.

more stuff off the list

more stuff to take off the crafting list: roman shades for the dining area and a decoupaged box for my lamp's shelf.

awesome friends

i just wanted to quickly thank some friends who have helped us get our house ready for the new baby:
thank you so much daniel for helping jake paint the baby's room. we couldnt have done it without you. and thanks to chrissy for letting us borrow her husband for 2 separate occasions to get the room done.

a HUGE thanks to my best friend from junior high (and now too), amy, for everything you came and helped with. you did all the things i have been tempted to do on my own but shouldnt be doing since im pregnant. you took a big load off my shoulders and it was also TOO MUCH FUN to have you here for the weekend.

so im trying to whittle down my crafting list before our baby boy comes. heres my progress:
bear hat for my boy, sock monkey for my boy, quilt for audrey and a doll clothes closet.

but i still have made time to make some stuff. so here it is:

stick horse for audrey with matching skirt

easter dress

heres the easter dress and barrettes i made for audrey.
i think this dress turned out better than the others i have made.

almost record breaking

yes, we got more snow the other nite and we are just .5 inches away from this being the snowiest winter ever. ah man!
i took a picture of the front yard this time and audrey in the snow pants i found at the boutique.

spring break

this spring break we decided to visit my friend amy and her family. we had lots of fun. the husbands bonded by playing the wii. the daughters played most of the time pretty well together. and amy and i had fun just talking and alittle bit of craft shopping at hobby lobby. :)

snow day

yeah a snow day and they even decided before 5 the day before so we got to sleep in. what could be better?
from the news it looks like we got around 11 inches. wow, its so beautiful.

i havent posted in forever

and that is what happens when you are pregnant and exhausted all the time.
but i have been up to some things. here are some pictures. i made audrey's friend an apron and chef's hat for her birthday. and audrey in her princess outfit for the party.
i also have a picture of the quilt top that im working on for audrey's quilt.and here is a picture of the snow we are currently getting. it has been snowing all day and we have at least 3-4 inches already. crazy but so beautiful.

we had a white christmas
